Hey nurse friend, welcome to The Soft Nurse Shift — where we believe nursing doesn’t have to be all stress and no life.
I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m an LPN with a Bachelor’s and an MBA in Healthcare Management, but more than that… I’m someone who gets it. The burnout. The hustle. The constant tug between caring for others and trying to care for yourself.
Been there. Felt that.
Before I ever put on my nurse badge, I worked six years as an aide. I fought hard for my seat at the table, graduated at the top of my class, and got hired at the same place I once passed trays and changed linens.
But then, life pivoted — like it tends to do.
A remote nursing opportunity practically fell into my lap, and for five years, I thrived working from home. I had found my soft spot in nursing.
Then came postpartum depression. I took a step back and became a stay-at-home mom — the hardest, most beautiful, most refining job yet.
Re-entering the workforce after that? Whew. It wasn’t easy.
I completed a 4-month HEDIS contract, applied to 105 jobs (yep, I counted), and edited my résumé so many times I lost track.
But by the grace of God, I finally landed what I now call my soft nursing dream job as a clinical review nurse.
Now, I’m on a mission to help other nurses — especially the burnt-out, overlooked, and over-it ones — discover that soft side of nursing, too.
Whether you're ready to leave the bedside, break into remote work, or simply want to feel like yourself again in this career… you’re in the right place.
Let’s find your soft shift together!
